See inside your AC. Catch problems early.
Two small sensors, one on your indoor unit and one on your outdoor unit, show you exactly what your system is doing, live on your phone.
Watch a cycle, step by step
This is what DeltaTru sees. The indoor sensor sits on the air handler, the outdoor sensor on the outdoor compressor. Tap the house to pause.
Idle: the thermostat isn't calling, so nothing should be running.

The room warms up
Sun and outdoor heat soak in. The house air creeps above the 74°F you set.

How DeltaTru’s AI reads your system
Not a generic rule of thumb: your system is judged against its own history, at the same outdoor temperature.
- 1Two sensors sample your system
The indoor sensor on the air handler and the outdoor sensor on the outdoor unit read supply and return air temperatures, the refrigerant lines, compressor and blower amps, and every thermostat call, about every 10 seconds.
- 2Readings stream to the cloud
Readings are sent to DeltaTru's cloud, where each run is split into cycles and rolled up into daily runtime, delta T and estimated energy cost.
- 3Compared with your home's own normal
During the first 7 days DeltaTru learns how your system runs at each outdoor temperature. After that, every cycle is checked against that baseline and against known fault patterns: a call with no amps, a freezing coil, short cycling, heavy backup heat, wrong mode.
- 4A plain-English alert
When something is off you get the likely cause, what was measured, safe things you can check yourself, and when it's time to call a tech.
Likely cause: dirty filter, closed vents or a dirty coil. Check: replace the filter and log it in the app — DeltaTru starts a fresh baseline.
- Monthly plain-English report and a “case file” to hand your technician
- Machine-learning anomaly detection on top of today’s baselines
- Comparison with similar systems in similar climates
- Automatic utility-rate lookup for cost estimates
🔒 Your readings and alerts are visible only to your account.

What it catches
- Dirty filter / low airflowΔT creeps out of range as the filter clogs.
- Freeze riskSupply air keeps dropping toward coil-icing territory.
- Short cyclingMany short on/off runs instead of steady ones.
- Cost of inefficiencyLonger run-times for the same cooling = higher bills.

And more
- Thermostat calling, nothing happeningDeltaTru sees the Y/W/G call but no blower or compressor current, and alerts you.
- Compressor that won't startCooling or heating called, but the outdoor unit never draws current.
- Blower running, no coolingCooling called but the air coming out is still warm.
- Thermostat power lostThe 24 V control power drops out, so nothing can be called.
- Outdoor sensor gone quietThe condenser monitor stops reporting during a call.
- Stuck on emergency heatStrips running alone for a long stretch, the priciest way to heat.
- Running with no callCompressor or blower still on when the thermostat isn't asking.

FAQ
Is DeltaTru available now?
Not yet. The hardware is in development and we're running early tests. Register interest and we'll email you when early-access kits are ready.
What is delta T?
The temperature difference between the air going into your indoor coil and the air coming out. It's one of the simplest signs of whether your AC is moving heat properly.
Will it work with my system?
It's designed for typical central split-system air conditioners and heat pumps with an indoor air handler or furnace. Tell us about your setup in the form and we'll let you know.
Do I need an HVAC technician to install it?
The indoor sensor mounts on the air handler and the outdoor sensor on the outdoor unit; the probes and amp clamps go on accessible parts of the system. Anything involving opening electrical panels should be done by a qualified person. We'll publish clear install guidance before kits ship.
Does it replace my thermostat?
No. DeltaTru only listens. It reads the thermostat call signals so it knows when the system should be running, but your thermostat stays in charge.
Will it tell me I need a new system?
It's not a sales tool. It shows you what your system is actually doing so you can have an informed conversation with a technician.
What happens to my data?
Your readings are tied to your account and used to show you your system's health. We don't sell your data.
The hardware
Two DeltaTru sensors: an indoor sensor for the air handler and an outdoor sensor for the compressor, each in a small weather-ready case.
